A small two-seater sport car as a result of challenging the lower cost. The fender form was shared at both sides and they were connected by flat plate in-between. That was the core idea of this car.

MAZDASPEED's machine for Le Mans race.251 could not race due to the engine broken down.252 was level-up version employing injection-ized engine.253 was improved to generate more downforce with larger fender, alongside the needs of wider/larger tyres to meet the car's high performance.Integrated those experiences, 254 was made as a totally new car.254 is one of Yura's favorite, and also one of his proud work.Yura's entertaining spices were seen on this car: aluminum-made rotary-shaped induction entrance in front, MAZDA's logo relief on tail-end etc.

* MAZDA717C (1983)
MAZDASPEED's real challenge for Le Mans was begun in 1983 with racing at C2-class, which was called Group-C Jr.We designed chassis and body cowl; ASTONISH manufactured the chassis.As Le Mans' car, the target of development was to maximize the top speed.The CD value showed less than as small as 0.3.However, the CD was measured without moving-ground. The ground effect was actually generated, but the car was a hard to drive properly on the circuit, provably because of the bad CP performance.The nickname was "Fava Bean" from its cute appearance.

* MAZDA727C/737C (1983)
Based on 717C, focused on improvement in the ground effect with MAZDASPEED.Mainly worked on adjusting its CP value.For this development, we made the moving belt and brought it into JARI for wind tunnel testings. This was the last Le Mans car, worked with MAZDASPEED.We moved on manufacturing formula cars after this car.

* MCS Guppy (1983)
It can be described as a closed-body version of MCS.The roof was made using MAZDA717C's windscreen, putting on the two-seater MARCH chassis.Without drawing drafts, this car was manufactured considering the styling first.It was commented good to drive with good balance. This car became popular among private teams in JSPC C2-class.

A super sport car, unveiled in 1992, for commercial sales in 1994.The concept was the "Road-going F1". The centre driving cockpit car with the V12-3.5L engine. However it was not commercialized.

* MOKE Sport (1993)
A sport car from MOKE?Make a sport car from MOKE, taking the advantage of its strong twin tube monocoque. That was the concept of MOKE sport.It was commercialized and one-make* race was held later on. There are some MOKE sports on the street with license plates.* One-make race: a type of race in which all the competitors use the same make car.
